Do It Yourself T.V Remote Jammer (Infra red remote jammer)

Do you know how to jam TV Remote ?

Just point this small device at the TV and the remote gets jammed . The circuit is very simple . 555 timer is wired as an stable multi vibrator for a frequency of nearly 38 kHz. This is the frequency at which most of the modern TVs receive the IR beam . The transistor acts as a current source supplying roughly 25mA to the infra red LEDs. To increase the range of the circuit simply decrease the value of the 180 ohm resistor to not less than 100 ohm.

How to use ?

Point the infrared LEDs of jammer device to T.V  sensor direction, press & hold CHANNEL  + button  in tv remote and slowly adjust the Potentimeter  from min to max. The remote stops working at one point. 

Leave the potentimeter.

Now whenever  you point jammer to tv direction and press power button of jammer device your T.V remote will not work untill you power off jammer device.

NOTE : Both BC557 or  SK100  transistors works.
